Dulce López is an artivist, cultural strategist, and migrant researcher originally from a rural community in southern Jalisco, Mexico. She is a UC Berkeley alumna and holds a master’s degree from UCLA. Through art, participatory research, and cross-border cultural strategies, she develops campaigns and projects that strengthen community leadership, inform the public, and drive participation in social justice processes. She has led civic advocacy initiatives in the United States, Mexico, and Central America, collaborating with grassroots organizations and human rights movements.

She is the founder of Dulce.Artivist and Pueblos en Movimiento, an initiative that uses art and community organizing to strengthen transnational solidarity. She also serves on the board of School of the Americas Watch. Her work—inspired by her childhood working in agricultural fields and her migration to Santa Ana, California, at age eleven—explores the structural causes of forced migration and its relationship to U.S. imperialism, the USMCA, environmental justice, and labor rights.
